Janette

Janette Tugade is a Tax Associate at K&R Strategic Partners with over 10 years of experience in tax and accounting.

She specializes in multi-state tax preparation and advisory services for individuals, small businesses, partnerships, and S corporations, with a particular focus on self-employed professionals and clients in real estate. Her work includes tax credit and deduction optimization, cryptocurrency and rental property taxation, quarterly estimated tax payments, IRS and state notice resolution, catch-up bookkeeping, and tax research.

Janette holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting and is credentialed as an Enrolled Agent (EA).

She believes every client deserves real care, respect, and attention, and she prioritizes open communication so clients feel genuinely supported. She loves getting to know her clients and their needs, building relationships that last well beyond a single conversation through personalized service all year long.

Outside of work, giving back matters a great deal to Janette. She and her family volunteer at the Food Bank, and she spent several years with the high school band boosters — even becoming a certified food handler so she could help run concession stands at school events. This year she picked up a new hobby of collecting medals from the 10Ks and half marathons she has completed, and she hopes to keep adding to the collection for years to come, as long as her legs are willing.
