Local privilege tax and other obligations

Arizona does not tax the buyer through a sales tax. It taxes the seller through the Transaction Privilege Tax, and each city stacks its own rate on the state figure. Tempe sets its rate locally, and residential rental and commercial lease activity fall under classifications that the state does not apply uniformly, which is why a landlord here and a landlord two cities over can be treated differently. Do you have an office in Tempe, AZ?
No. Our only location is 6861 E Main St in Mesa, AZ, and we serve Tempe clients from there. Most of our work runs through the client portal and scheduled calls, so many clients never need to come in.
Are your tax preparers CPAs?
Yes. Our team includes credentialed CPAs and licensed Enrolled Agents. An Enrolled Agent is federally licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS, which matters when a return turns into an audit.
What does a return cost?
Fees depend on entity type, number of schedules and the state of your books, so we quote after the discovery call rather than publishing a price that would not apply to you. K&R gives you the number before any work starts.
Can you handle both my business and personal returns?
